Cal Poly Humboldt offers a range of services to meet accessibility requirements.
Accessibility Resource Center
The Accessibility Resource Center (ARC) team helps faculty and staff ensure that digital files are compliant with the requirements of the ATI.
Remember, ALL digital materials are required to be made accessible…IT IS THE LAW! Here are some examples of things that should always be accessible:
- Syllabus
- Word Documents
- PDFs
- Videos
- Audio/Podcasts
- Powerpoints
Staff at the ARC are prepared to help with the following:
- Hard copy scanning and OCR processing to an accessible digital format
- Remediation of digital documents for accessibility (i.e. PDFs and Word Documents)
- Closed Captioning for video and audio files
